Dominique Orban

Two scholarships of $10 000 each respectively will be attributed to:

  • Samuel Goyette, M.Sc. student, cosupervised by Jean-Pierre Dussault and Dominique Orban;
  • Marie Pied, M.Sc. student, cosupervised by Miguel Anjos and Roland Malhamé.


The winners of the 2014 COIN-OR Cup are Mehdi Towhidi and Dominique Orban, developers of CyLP and both from Polytechnique Montréal. The tenth annual COIN-OR Cup was awarded at a celebration during the INFORMS Annual meeting in San Francisco, California on November 10, 2014.

We want to congratulate Dominique Orban, an associate professor with the Department of Mathematical and Industrial Engineering at École Polytechnique de Montréal, who has received the award for the best article of 2010 from Computational Management Science journal, for his article entitled "DrAmpl: a meta solver for optimization problem analysis".
