GERAD is proud to highlight the participation of its students at the EURO 2025 conference in Leeds (UK), one of the biggest international events in operations research.

At this event, they presented their research projects and publicized Operations Research at Africa (OR@AFRICA), an initiative born at GERAD in September 2023 under the impetus of a group of students and Professor Issmail El Hallaoui.

The aim of this collective initiative is to encourage the development of operational research in Africa, foster collaborations and raise awareness among the scientific community of the continent's specific challenges and prospects.

Several professors, including Youssef Diouane, Ayoub Insa Corréa, as well as other GERAD members and students, also marked their presence and showed their support for the initiative at the event, alongside Wissem AHMED ZAID and Mohamed Faouzi Benammour. Other members of the OR@Africa team, including Bouchra Bacha, Imene Sellahi, Mohamed Laghdaf Habibullah, Meissem Kadri and El Mehdi Er Raqabi, also worked actively to contribute to the success of this event.
