Leandro C. Coelho, Professor at Université Laval, was awarded the 2nd place for the Practice Prize from the Canadian Operational Research Society during the 64th CORS Annual Conference for the project "Real-time management of traffic lights - improving mobility and decreasing greenhouse gas emissions", with Jacques Renaud, Khaled Belhassine and Vincent Turgeon.
Allyson Fernandes da Costa Silva won the 2022 GERAD Best Thesis Competition for his thesis titled "Optimization of storage and picking systems in warehouse". He was supervised by Leandro C. Coelho and cosupervised by Maryam Darvish from Université Laval.
