Congratulations to Claudio Contardo, Professor at the Department of Management and Technology at UQÀM, who received the award for young researcher. As well as Diego Amaya, Professor at the Department of Finance at UQÀM, who received the award for the best publication for his article entitled "Does Realized Skewness Predict the Cross-Section of Stock Returns?" published in Journal of Financial Economics.

2015 AMQ Mathematical Camp

May 31 - June 6, 2015

The mathematical Camp is an activity sponsored by the Mathematical Association of Quebec (AMQ) and Canadian Mathematical Society in order to bring together talented students in mathematics with math researchers.

The 2015 AMQ camp will be held at the University of Montreal from May 31 to June 6, 2015, from Sunday evening to Saturday afternoon. Campers will be housed in the homes of the University of Montreal.

The FRQNT renewed the GERAD Strategic Cluster grant for the next six years, from 2015 to 2021. Guy Desaulniers, director of GERAD, and Jean-Philippe Waaub, who led the project, would like to highlight the excellent work of everyone involved in the process.
