Robustness Bounds for Sampled-Data Linear Time-Delay Systems

In this paper we develop robustness bounds for sampled-data linear time-delay systems. The uncertainty is assumed to be on both the A and B matrices of the continuous-time system. The bounds we develop are in terms of the maximum singular values of the uncertainties in the continuous-time domain. We consider the cases of small (less than or equal to the sampling time) and long time-delay. For each of the cases, we develop the bounds for the general uncertain continuous linear time-delay system as well as the system with uncertainty in A or B only.
