This article deals with the problem of GPRS simulation and performance. The GPRS is an evolution of the GSM that allows packet data transfer. An important issue in GPRS deployment is to be able to predict and analyse performance. In this paper we assess such a performance from the point of view of the user. A modelling framework is introduced that considers message level and different data classes of service.
