Abdelhakim Abdellaoui, PhD student at Polytechnique Montréal and NRCan, Issmail El Hallaoui, Professor at Polytechnique Montréal, and Loubna Benabbou, Professor at UQAR, were awarded the 1st place for the Practice Prize from the Canadian Operational Research Society during the 67th CORS Annual Conference for the project "Bridging the Practicability Gap: A Hybrid Optimization and Machine Learning DSS for Log Transportation at NRCan", with François Aubé et Mouloud Amazouz from NRCan.
