Title: Primal algorithms for degenerate linear and network flow problems
Here are the winners who will each receive a half-fellowship of $22,500:
- Jean-Bertrand Gauthier, candidate proposed by Jacques Desrosiers;
- Ahmed Saif, candidate proposed by Erick Delage.
Jacques Desrosiers, Full Professor at the Department of Decision Sciences of HEC Montréal, received the 2015 Pierre Laurin Award.
At the scholarship ceremony of the HEC Montréal Offices of the Program Director, on April 8, 2015, Jean-Bertrand Gauthier, PhD student with Professor Jacques Desrosiers, and Elnaz Kanani Kuchesfehani, PhD student with Professor Georges Zaccour, have won two of the three Esdras-Minville Awards for one of their articles. This award comes with a $3,000 scholarship.

Starting June 1, Mr. Denis Larocque, as the new Director of Department of Management Sciences of HEC Montréal, will take charge of Mr. Jacques Desrosiers’ work which is at this position since June 2004.
