Git Install Party

You code, you've heard of Git, but never got to start using it? You're in the right place!

This hands-on workshop is aimed at people who want to get started with Git.

We will:

  • Walk you through setting up Git.
  • Get you started with basic Git functionalities.
  • Show you how to use online Git repositories (e.g. via GitHub, GitLab, BitBucket, etc ...).
  • Answer any questions you have in the process. Come anytime between 12:30 and 2pm, with your computer (and your code!).

If you already use Git but have questions regarding the setup and other functionalities, you are also welcomed to join!

Please confirm your attendance with this form: Pizza and non alcoholic beverages will be available; you can also bring your own lunch.
This activity is only for students and members of GERAD
