General Information

The series Game Theory Practice was initiated by Ignacio Garcia-Jurado (University of Santiago de Compostela), Fioravante Patrone (University of Genova) and Stef Tijs (Tilburg University and University of Genoa).

The first four meetings were general in their scope and were held in Genoa (Italy, 1998), Valencia (Spain, 2000), Hilvarenbeek (The Netherlands, 2002), and Elche (Spain, 2004).  A meeting on Game Practice and Environment was held in Alessandria (Italy, 2002).  The sixth meeting took place in Zaragoza (Spain, 2006) and focused on development, natural resources and the environment.

This year’s Game Theory Practice is dedicated to Energy, Environment and Natural Resources.  The purpose of the meeting is to discuss advances in the applications of game theory in these fields.

The meeting will include keynote presentations, tutorials, and presentations of contributed papers as well as a round table to discuss the next steps in this field.
