Preconditioning Methods for CT Image Reconstruction |

Centre-ville, Montréal, Québec, Canada, H3C 3A7 Solution of the (ill-posed) tomographic reconstruction problem through iterative methods is obtained at a high computational cost. Edge-preserving l2l1 regularization brings better conditioning, but is non-linear. Fourier domain preconditioners significantly improve solution time for shift-variant linear problems. Such a preconditioner has been developed for our shift-variant non-linear problem, yielding very good results. |
