Biographie : Elisabeth Gaar was born in Graz, Austria. She finished the bachelor program Technical Mathematics with specialization Computer Science at Graz University of Technology. There she also completed the master program Technical Mathematics: Operations Research and Statistics. Her master thesis dealt with edge intersection graphs of paths on a grid and was supervised by Eranda Dragoti-Çela. In the summer she worked at the Department Operations Research for Decision Support at Siemens in Munich, Germany, two times. Currently she is a PhD student at Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt, Austria, supervised by Franz Rendl.
