Viability Analysis is an appropriate tool for modeling dynamical systems coupling Economics and Environment. It allows for instance to determine suitable controls or regulation strategies in order to adjust or modify the evolution of state variables so as to maintain it in some prescribed constraints. But this approach can be generalized to understand how these systems infer with sustainability purpose. Through three examples dealing with climate change or biodiversity maintenance we will discuss precisely how sustainability can be ensured or not and how it is possible to help at quantifying economical or physical impact of human decisions or comportment.
