How to get there

The Barcelona-El Prat airport is located 12 km south from the city. It consists of two terminals (T1,T2) connected to the city center by train, taxi and bus:

  • Aerob�s: this service connects the airport with Pla�a Catalunya. Buses run every 5 minutes and the ride takes about 35 minutes. Price: 5,90�. More information on times and fares here:

  • Train: connects Terminal 2 (T2) with Sants Estaci�, the main train station, and Passeig de Gr�cia, in the city center. Trains run every 30 minutes. Travel time:  20 minutes. More information:

  • Regular bus line: bus line 46 connects the airport with Pla�a Espanya. Buses run every 30 minutes. Price: 2�.

 

  • NITBUS: bus line N17 (night bus) connects the airport with the city center. More information:

  • Taxi: the usual price for a ride from the airport to the city center is about 30-35�, depending on the terminal. Travel time: 20 minutes.

 

By train:

The train station Barcelona Sants (Pla�a Pa�sos Catalans s/n 08014) is the main access point to the city by train. It counts with a wide range of national and international connections, including AVE. More information:
