FUNDING

The GERAD's infrastructure is essentially financed by supporting institutions (HEC Montréal, École Polytechnique, McGill University and Université du Québec à Montréal), and by the Fonds québécois de la recherche sur la nature et les technologies.

The GERAD members' projects are financed by research grants provided under various programs offered by NSERC (individual, strategic, cooperative R&D), the FQRNT ("regroupements stratégiques", teams, "actions spontanées", young researchers), and the FRSQ (teams, research fellowships).

GERAD's researchers have also obtained research contracts from federal and provincial public organisms, as well as various private companies for Quebec and elsewhere.
